You’ve entered one of the most handsome cycling events around…now you just need a handsome bike.

L’Eroica was born in Italy in 1997 and has now expanded to multiple countries across the world celebrating the heritage of cycling. L’Eroica Britannia started 3 years ago in Bakewell, Derbyshire and has grown (in our opinion) to be one of the best cycling festivals around. Spanning over 3 days, it’s not just for cyclists; bring the whole family along too with music, vintage shopping, food and drink, and let’s not forget about Best in Show, there’s something for everyone.

Because I’Eroica celebrates the history of cycling and with 3 routes to choose from, all the riders must ride rpe-1987 bikes and wear period clothing. Reproduction bikes however, are allowed if there are made from steel and here’s where Ravens Cycles comes in.

We can create your perfect ride, with a bike fit included to create your very own vintage looking steel framed bicycle.

Here are a few features (and rules) for L’Eroica bikes:

  • Vintage components or replicated parts may be used and gear shifters must be on the down tube.
  • Pedals with toe clips and straps. Quick release are NOT allowed apart from Cinelli M71.
  • Brake cables must pass outside the handlebars but other cables can pass inside the frame
  • Wheels must have at least 32 spokes laced to a low profile rim. 20 mm depth or less, except for the wood rims.
